About Word Warriors

Thanks for visiting the Word Warrior Blog! I’m excited you are here and excited to see how God uses this site to encourage and equip you, and to clarify your purpose in the season we are in! It’s a critical time on the planet and in the kingdom, so it’s amazing when God leads people to this site and to this tribe.

You may be wondering, what is a Word Warrior? Simply put, a word warrior is someone who believes in the power of words to change the world. And more specifically, word warriors believe that God’s prophetic, timely, strategic words are agents of transformation and redemption for individuals, families, communities and to the Body of Christ as a whole. That is what this blog is founded on, and what this tribe stands for!

We have all experienced times when these “rhema” words have changed the course of our lives. I’m sure you have, too! As a prophetic writer and transformational coach, I absolutely believe we can cultivate and create an environment for God to speak into every part of our lives, our families and our futures. We can be intentional in our habits, mindsets and actions to actually release the creative, redemptive power of God through the words we speak, write and believe.

This is lived out in a variety of ways. You may be called to communicate as a writer, author or speaker, or perhaps to coach, create or lead. Whatever your purpose, harnessing the power of the creative word is foundational! I mean, that’s how God created the entire universe, right? Our words carry great power to govern, lead, create, redeem and restore. That’s why it’s so important to have direct access to the Father’s heart and purposes for your life and the lives of those you are called to serve!

He is speaking today. He has things to tell you, to show you and for you to share with others. I believe this with all of my heart. And friend, that is why you are here.

Word Warriors is a tribe who hears what God is saying in this season, who are ready to walk in intimate union with Jesus, their true identity in him, and the influence they are called to carry. If that sounds like you, then welcome! Explore our site, drop me an email and let’s see where the Holy Spirit leads…

About Me

Who Am I?

With more than 30 years experience in leadership, ministry, communication, writing and encouragement, I have been writing, coaching, teaching and training most of my adult life. Additionally, I am called called to serve as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, and teacher and to challenge the status quo in a way that inspires and shifts our paradigms about intimacy with God, our true identity in Christ, and the influence we each carry.

Why am I here?

To be God’s voice of faith, clarity and encouragement in the lives of those who desire a deeper relationship and experience with Jesus. I have a tremendous passion to reach the “churched” and those who are disillusioned with their Christian experience, their Church experience and life in general. Those who are discontent, and then feel guilty, who love Jesus or want to love Jesus, but are not being led in the true experience of who he is. I feel God really solidifying this passion and call to the Church, to his Body, his Bride through a word he spoke to me: My Church, my Bride needs a guide into the intimate place with me, into the wide open spaces of purpose and into the spheres of influence with my power.

Why Words?

I have always been fascinated with words and communication, and have been a writer for more than 20 years. I get pretty geeked out when it comes to finding the right words to articulate a vision, strategy or direction. I have built my professional and personal life on words God has given me, whether through scripture, the pages of a book or my practice of choosing words for specific seasons in time. I’ve worked as a writer, editor, publisher, blogger, communication and marketing leader, coach and trainer. I love harnessing the power of words to build vision, unity and culture and to release the supernatural into people’s lives and dreams.
